Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. It made her an the only American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The year she was in 2016, and her partner Gabby Doug were among the first Americans who won back-toback golds in team competitions. Silver medals were awarded in the individual floor and all-around events. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Gold medal winner American team also won two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor workouts. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. In the future, she hopes to build a career from fashion. It is also her dream to expand her line of leotards and her socks. Fierce is a new book she will release later this year.
